The Daughter of God, the Son of Hell, and the Bitch of Death ... story summary

Rolf Stahlhelm, sickened by the violence of war, resigns his commission as a Captain in the army and embraces the serene life of a Brother in the Church of the One True God, where he finds peace and joy in the simple routine of cloister life.

 

But when raiders abduct children from a local town, Rolf is forced to revive the deadly skills he had put to rest. Accompanied by his friend, the gentle Brother Jeever, Rolf gathers a small team of army veterans to assist him in his mission to rescue the children.

 

With wise-cracking archer Tenny Naaler, infantryman Britt Slade, and hulking warrior Hoxx Ferrus, Rolf commands a formidable crew, but when he decides to also recruit the hot-tempered, hot-blooded tracker Vesi Lespin, personalities within his team clash, leaving Rolf to wonder if the mission is doomed to fail.

 

That all changes, however, after they join with the enigmatic Sister Erina, who reveals the diabolical entity behind the child abductions, a demon so vile that it unites Rolf’s team in a concerted effort to rescue the children.

 

But only Sister Erina has the power to bring down the evil Dark Lord, and to do so she must first travel through forbidden lands accursed with hideous abominations. Rolf and his team are tasked with escorting Sister Erina safely through these netherworlds … to the lair of the Dark Lord, where God’s servant Erina and Satan’s servant Belial will battle to decide the fate of the world.
